Got back to 2nd last outside eventual winner, as expected. Was clipping heels and the jock kept looking for inside runs, ran into 2 dead ends in the straight and was interfered with by the winner just as he started to get going. Certainty beaten (Steward Report) Prior to correct weight D. Moor rider of Validator 6th placegetter viewed the official video in the straight before deciding not to proceed with an objection.D. Moor rider of Validator pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding, the careless riding being that he permitted his mount to shift out near the 300 metres to obtain clear running resulting in Unrestrained being taken out onto Sailor Salute which in turn was taken out onto Kaisership consequently Sailor Salute had to be checked. Stewards conceded there was a minor shift from Instructor which was racing to the outside of Kaisership. In arriving at their decision Stewards took into account his guilty plea and the fact that the suspension was during the spring carnival. D. Moor was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence midnight 3rd October 2008 and to expire midnight 10th October, 2008. a total of 8 meetings 2 city and 8 country
Eagle Farm 7-4 ROMANTIC JOURNEY 1st $2.60-$1.20
Jumped like a rocket and went straight to the front, he was always going to get an easy sectionals upfront with the scratching that came out. Straightened up 2 lengths in front and stayed there. He's a good horse when he's firring.

Flemington Race 3-8 TINDAL 1st $3.60-$1.40
Ridden upside down, slow away and ridden along to get handy, went a bit quick in front and was left alone, kicked strong and found plenty. He's a Caufield Guinness Chance.
Brisbane Race 2-2 LIFEBOAT 1st $2.80-$1.60
Great ride by the apprentice to get across and be running 3rd just behind the leaders, going well on the turn and eased out 3 wide and shot away with little ridding to win effetely.
Brisbane Race 8-4 FANGLES 1st $6.30-$2.40
Given a gun run by Chris as usual, 3rd the fence, in a moderate tempo. Eased around the leaders heals on the turn, balanced up and let down to win nicely.
Gold Coast Race 5-1 SAND RULER 1st $2.40-$1.40
Ridden hard to lead and as soon as Dan got there he slowed the pace to suit himself. He was on the wrong leg coming around the turn however shot away and his fitness held out.
Gold Coast Race 7-1 RASMUSSEN1st $1.90- $1.40
Slow away and ridden hard to lead, slowed pace mid race, and in my opinion waited to long before she made her run. Fort gamely one stride before the post was beaten, however got the bob in at the right time.
Randwick Race 10-15 ANNA BEK unplaced
Jumped OK and race in a good position 5th the fence, never really improved held position until the 200m and then weakened out of it.(Stewards Report) When questioned, D Nikolic, rider of Anna Bek stated that his mount overraced when ridden a little closer and, as a result, did not finish off its race. A post race veterinary examination of Anna Bek did not reveal any abnormalities.
