Canterbury Race 6-3 JOKU 1st $1.50-$1.00

Jumped to the lead, and was taken on down the back straight. Daniel pushed out of the fence to sit outside the leader. Shot away on the turn and never looked in doubt.

Eagle Farm Race 5-4 LADY RED Unplaced

Ridden well by the Apprentice Jock midfield the fence with a moderate speed. got out at the top of the straight however raced flat and never accelerated to finish them off.

Eagle Farm Race 7-3 KANE MOCHI unplaced

Given ever hope by glen, back behind the speed never left the fence on the turn, got up inside the leaders and never accelerated, he raced very one paced.

Mornington Race 5-4 LET LOUSHE $1st $2.00-$1.30

Jumped well and was straight into 3rd position and never closer than 3 wide. Made ground on the turn and shot away like the good thing it was. Started shorter than I hoped, but I’ll take 100% return any day.

Doomben Race 2-3 PAPAL JOY 3rd NTD

Raced handier today and looked to be travelling well on the turn, however one paced down the straight and even lost ground, disappointing effort.

Doomben Race 3-1 REGAL CASTANEA 1st $2.90-$1.60

This bloke has been a real good horse to us and Saturday was no exception Scottie rode his usual great ride. He knows this horse back to front, and gets the best out of him. No reason why we wont keep following him.

Doomben Race 6-4 WOODY 'N' BUZZ Unplaced

Got back to midfield and wide, made steady ground to the turn then faded.

(Stewards Report) Near the 1000m, WOODY ‘N' BUZZ had to be steadied off the heels of ONE EYED (J. Byrne), which shifted in. WOODY ‘N' BUZZ over raced on the heels of ONE EYED for a short distance thereafter. ONE EYED and WOODY ‘N' BUZZ raced wide throughout. WOODY ‘N' BUZZ lost its near hind plate in running. A post-race veterinary examination of WOODY ‘N' BUZZ failed to reveal any abnormalities.

Flemington Race 4-1 DANE JULIA 2nd$1.50

Jumped well and was wide early, being forced to go forward, and sit outside the leaders, which is not her go. Still travelling well at the 400m, however didn't find as much as the leader, who has been unlucky in the past.

Flemington Race 8-12 RAFFAELLO 1st $5.60-$1.80

Given a great ride by Nicolas running 4th/5th one out in moderate tempo. He was going that easy on the turn popped out 3 wide

to give himself a clear run at them, although still green and immature fort on strong to win
