Eagle Farm Race 3-3 PLENTY OF PRACTISE unplaced
Got back to last, after Bucking out of the barriers, and in a slow run race and was too far back to catch them, got home when it was all over. Good riding to say on board when it Bucked. (Stewards Report) PLENTY OF PRACTISE (O. Turpin) attempted to buck shortly after the start. SONIC TARA, which was following, had to be steadied and shifted out. Trainer F. Phillips was advised that PLENTY OF PRACTISE must trial satisfactorily prior to its next race start.

Got a great run fifth the fence, pace slowed mid race and they made it a sprint home. He got a run between horses and fort hard but not Good enough.

Doomben Race 7-7 UGLY BETTY Unplaced
Got back and wide in moderate pace, and didn't run on. (Stewards Report) The club's veterinary surgeon also reported that UGLY BETTY was found to be sore in the near foreleg. Connections will be advised that a veterinary clearance will be required prior to its next race start.
Rosehill Race 7-3 CENTENNIAL PARK 1st $5.50-$1.70
Gun ride By James, 4th 3 lenghts off fast speed, peeled off there backs to get a clear run in the straight and over powered them to win.

Caufield Race 2-1 FRAVASHI Unplaced
Knuckled over at the start and got back to last, why he went to the fence I'll never know. The eventual winner had him in a pocket the whole way. Never really got clear and appeared to be hanging in down the straight. Great run and will be winning soon. (Steward Report) Fravashi knuckled on jumping away, shifted out abruptly and almost dislodged its rider K McEvoy. K McEvoy reported on return to scale that in his opinion his mount slipped when the start was effected.Rounding the home turn and in the early part of the straight Fravashi and Miss Scarlatti (NZ) were unable to improve their positions when held up for clear running.Fravashi, when put under pressure passing the 200m, hung in and as a result proved difficult for K McEvoy to ride out in his normal manner.
