Sandown Race 6-3 LADY LYNETTE $1.90- $1.20
Given the perfect run by Ollie, 4th one off the the fence and eased around their heels on the turn into clear running. When Ollie left the brakes off it was all over. A short price, however better than "bank interest".
Canterbury Race 3-9 WHATEVER HAPPENS unplaced
Got running 5th one off the fence, and got into a bumping duel with Silver Raven at the 600m. when he got clear in the straight only one paced, I think he's looking for further Now. (Stewards Report) After the 800m Whatever Happens and Silver Raven (B. Shinn) made contact when B. Shinn attempted to take Whatever Happens which was occupying a one-off position in to be racing on the rails. Both runners continued to make contact for some distance and approaching the 650m Whatever Happens, which commenced to over race, shifted out off the heels of Hormones exacerbating the nature of the contact between Whatever Happens and Silver Raven. In all the circumstances B. Shinn was advised that, whilst he was entitled to attempt to take Whatever Happens into a position on the rails, when it became apparent that he was unable to execute this manoeuvre, he should have relieved any pressure placed upon Whatever Happens.

Flemington Race 2-1 BOLLE 2nd $1.30
Another Great ride by Ollie back to 5th in a fast pace, balanced up and driven to the lead at the 300m and was overhauled late, by a better horse on the day.
Flemington Race 6-8 FIFTH AVENUE LADY (Best Bet) $3.40-$1.60
Settled back last in a fast pace, Ollie weaved his way through the field to be just behind the leaders on the turn. When the run appeared she accelerated with ease and went on for a nice win, at a good price.(Stewards Report) Fifth Avenue Lady was slow to begin. Rounding the home turn Fifth Avenue Lady was held up then in the early part of the straight had to be shifted out when disappointed for a clear run between Marveen and Mary D’Or (FR) which shifted out.
Randwick Race 2-5 LUSTRE LADY Unplaced
Jumped well, and followed the leader and eventual winner, however when the leader sprinted, she couldn't match her and dropped out, disappointing. (Stewards Report) When questioned, G Schofield, rider of Lustre Lady, could offer no excuse for the disappointing performance of the mare, except to say Lustre Lady had got very stirred up prior to the event. A post race veterinary examination of Lustre Lady did not reveal any abnormalities. Trainer Mr J O’Shea stated that Lustre Lady had pleased the stable leading into the race. He added he felt the mare became stirred up as a result of it now being four weeks between runs, having missed a start at Rosehill on 28 February 2009 and he felt that it would take benefit from today’s run. A post race veterinary examination of Litter revealed the mare to have been galloped on on the near hind leg.
Doomben Race 8-10 QUEEN OF ASIA Unplaced
Got back further than expected and was under pressure to hold her ground , made steady ground throughout the race . However never really threatened , probably the jump in class was too much.
