Canterbury Race 5-10 DILLINGER (Best Bet) Unplaced
Got back as expected and the pace slowed around the first turn, Danny should of taken off at the 800m. However had a little nap instead and waited until it was too late. It was impossible for Dillinger to run the last 600m sectional in the time he needed to. (Stewards Report) A post race veterinary examination of Dillinger, which tailed off, revealed the gelding to be displaying cardiac arrhythmia. Trainer Mr L Bridge was advised that a full veterinary clearance, including the results of an ECG, would be required and that Dillinger must barrier trial to the
satisfaction of Stewards prior to racing again.

Randwick Race 1-3 Rabbuka Unplaced
Given a great ride by Olley and sat second in a fast tempo, topped the rise and looked to have the leaders measure. However stopped badly the last 100m.
Randwick Race 3-8 Serenissima 3rd $1.80
Randwick Race 3-8 Serenissima 3rd $1.80
In a great position early one out and one back in a slow tempo, eased to the outside on the turn and let go full speed. Didn't sprint like I expected and weakened over the concluding stages. The winner came from behind him and was the better horse on the day.
Randwick Race 8-9 Gamble Me (Roughie) Unplaced
Got into a nice position just behind the speed running 5th, great ride from 13 alley and she saved him up until over the rise. However never "gave a yelp". Good ride disappointing horse. (Stewards Report) When questioned concerning the performance of Gamble Me, K O'Hara stated she had to make use of the mare, which was stepping up in class today, to get across from its awkward barrier. She added that Gamble Me then wanted to over race and at the 600m had to be checked off the heels of Black Prince before failing to respond to her riding in the straight.
