17/03/08 Post Mortem


Well a fairly good week, the racing form is holding truer
now the horses are fit and free of the dreaded E.I. There were plenty of good runs found on the video replays this week. Especially at Doomben amongst the big fields were luck won most of the races there on Saturday. Here's how I seen last week unfold...

Gold Coast Race 3-4 RAPID BABE 3RD $1.70 (Roughie)


Got back to second last as expected, Paul made his run at the right time,


however got pushed wide on the turn and made good ground, however the winner


was in a class of his own.


Gold Coast Race 6-5 HIGH ROLL'N' WOMAN 1ST $2.00


Jumped well sat just of the speed 4 wide, cruised up to them at the 300m mark,


never in doubt won easy. This could be the Magic Millions winner.


Morphetteville Race 5-3 MISS DAEA unplaced


Had the dream run, in ideal pace got out at the top of the straight, ridden


hard but never responded, no excuses.


Randwick Race 4-2 KISHKAT 1ST $2.20- $1.20


Heavily backed on coarse, and ridden like the money was on, 2ND and 3RD,


just behind good speed,Nash sat quite until he had too, strode away for good win.


Randwick Race 5-5 HADAAF unplaced


Jumped brilliant and lead, with ease in solid tempo, kick away on the rise and looked


to be home and weakened as soon as I thort it,grabbed on the line from running a place.

Rosehill Race 4-6 MI CASA UNPLACED


Got a great run 4th the fence in a moderate pace, the leaders left the fence giving


Damion a beautiful run ,however didn't sprint grabbed late for a place.


Rosehill Race 5-5 HE'S CANNY 2nd $1.50


Got back in the field and couldn't get in ,after being 3 wide most of the way pushed wider


on the turn fort bravely down the straight just grabbed on the line.


Rosehill Race 6-10 FORENSICS 1st $ 6.40-$2.50


Settled near last on the fence, saving ground until the 600m and improved following El Cambo into the


race came to the outside letting go with a terrific sprint to win comfortably.


Rosehill Race8-7 PERFECT DROP unplaced


Got further back than expected in moderate pace, had a little trouble getting clear in the straight


and didn't sprint when she did. she's looking for 1600m now.


Flemington Race 6-8 TRANSLATE 1st $2.70-$1.60


Craig used his initiative and went forward in a slow run race, sat 4th and eased to the outside


in the straight sitting quite until the 200m mark and let go for a nice win


Gold Coast Race 5-2 MR SLICK 1st $3.30-$1.50


Jumped well and coasted along just behind the speed, when rounding the turn, Nathan


came to the outside and it was all over in a few strides, came away for easy win.
