Doomben Race 7-12 FACUNDO
(Roughie) 2nd $3.90
Couldn't go the early speed, and got back to 3rd last saved ground on the
fence made good ground but the winner had skipped away.
Doomben Race 8-5 LASSIE MACTAVISH 2nd $1.40
In a good position early running 4th, Jockey then let her drop out of the race to second last
at the 600m mark. Was giving the leader too much start, and put up a super effort to run 2nd.
Canterbury Race 2-2 SHADOW CABINET 1st $2.50 - $1.40
Jumped well and lead early Nash let a couple go around him to give him a sit behind
the pace. Cruised up to the leader on the turn and shot away for an easy win.
Canterbury Race 5-4 ENZEDEX EAGLE $1.60- $1.10
Settled lovely midfield the fence with a good speed, when the leaders slowed at the 600m
Nash took of around them and made sure it was a true staying test. Grounded away for
a good win.

Doomben Race 1-3 DECERTO unplaced

Flew out like a rocket and went very hard in front, Glen nursed him as long as he could,
and was tacked at the 200m compounded quickly.
Gold Coast Race 5-4 SAPHIRA unplaced
Jumped well and looked to get across outside leader, when pushed off the track by inside
runner and made to do alot of work. Chris said the pace wasn't fast and some how the winner
came from last up the fence in the slowest part of the track to win, he also added shes
probably suspect at 1200m
Gold Coast Race 6-4 HEAR YE 1st $1.80-$1.10
Chris judged the pace beautiful as usual and had him running midfield the fence, came
away from the rails at the 600m mark to stake his claim and keep his momentum going
drew away for a solid but nit impressive win.
Rosehill Race 3-3 GENTLY BENTLEY unplaced
Got back as usual when the speed slowed Nash fort him and had him 4 wide throwing his head.
When he finally got him balanced took off 5 & 6 wide around them after they sprinted ????
(Stewards Report) Gently Bentley over raced badly in the middle stages and ran out when being checked off the
heels of Beowolf near the 800m.
Rosehill Race 8-8 SMART AND FAST(Roughie) 3rd $2.20
Jumped well got a nice run 4th the fence, tried to come to the outside in the straight and the
run never came. Went back to the inside and challenged the winner, however winner fort on too strong.
Mooney Valley Race 5-1 JUST CURIOUS unplaced
Lead in solid tempo, looked to be travelling nice on the turn, however did nothing in the
straight weakened badly

W Hernan rider of Just Curious who performed below expectations stated the mare travelled well in the lead but when put under pressure near the 400m failed to respond to his riding and commenced to weaken. W Hernan further added that Just Curios may not have backed up from it’s win at Sandown last week on the slow track.A Veterinary examination of Just Curious subsequent to the race failed to reveal any abnormalities.

Mooney Valley Race 6-9 RED POWER (Roughie)unplaced
Got back as expected, jokey was never keen to improve his position and never ridden out in the straight. (Stewards Report) Near the 800m the saddle of Red Power shifted forward placing its rider D Brereton at a great disadvantage for the remainder of the race.
