Warwick Farm 11/2/09
Smart Lady
– Strong debut when runner-up over 1200m after enduring a tough run. Jumped from the outside gate and settled third out three wide before being outpaced into the straight. Came again inside the final 250m fighting right to the line. A Catbird two-year-old filly she should only improve on that.
Canterbury 13/2/09
Messenger – Showed plenty of improvement from her debut effort when charged into second place behind the more experience Pure Drama over 1250m. Settled fifth on the rails before working off the fence approaching the turn. Peeled five wide into the straight before balancing-up and closing strongly. Has her hoof right on the till.
Randwick 14/2/09
Palacio De CristalPromising filly from the Begg stable. Resumed from a wide gate in the Light Fingers (1200m) and no surprise to see her restrained well back in the field early on. Raced a tad keenly to the turn before warming-up solidly through the field in the run home. Best work was inside the final 150m and despite finishing eighth put the writing on the wall. Bigger races/bigger wins in store.
Joe Blow – Resumed out of his grade over 1400m and started at the appropriate price (25/1). Was slow to jump before settling back on the rails and saved ground approaching the turn. Gradually wound-up through the field hitting the line strongly late to grab third prize. That was his first placing from five career starts. Eligible for easier races and will excel as the distances increase (sire Sadler’s Wells).

MOONEE VALLEY 14/2/09

RENEWABLEThis son of Zabeel tracked the speed for most of the race last Saturday before his jockey was a fraction over-zealous when attempting to get closer to the speed at the 800. Renewable ended up in front a long way out before being cut down late by Centurytwentyone after the Adelaide galloper had the drop on him from the 400 metres. Owner Lloyd Williams is ruthless in selling horses that don’t look like they will make the grade but he has stuck with Renewable through all his problems.
CHAMPAGNE HARMONYThis filly was in the firing line with a fast pace prevailing in her race last Saturday before having the audacity to kick a couple of lengths clear on the point of the home turn. It took a potential topliner in Mic Mac to run her down with the gelding having the benefit of extra fitness. Mark Kavanagh and connections are in for a profitable campaign with this three-year-old daughter of Choisir.
TIME THIEFLee Freedman set this inexperienced three-year-old a huge task, taking on Apache Cat and Weekend Hussler at his first attempt at weight-for-age racing in the Australia Stakes. After beginning well, this son of Redoute’s Choice was given no peace in front and was always working, racing well off the fence to hold his position. Time Thief was entitled to drop out and run last but he fought on very strongly to hold off Orange County and run third. The field broke 1.10 for the MV 1200 metres which is a rare event which Time Thief had a big say in

I am 43 years old Ex- Jockey, being a professional Jockey for 25 years, I tryed lots of fat loss diets, in the end I had to give up the saddle and my love of the racing game. However this product has me back on track and that's because traditional weight loss systems all result in the same problem – muscle loss "Have you ever asked yourself the question…Why is it so hard to lose weight" If you have, don’t be too hard on yourself - you’ve got plenty of company. A whopping 98% of people who try to lose weight FAIL in the long term. I'll be here to help you keep it off, with OsoLean
